Meet and Eat in the Middle of the Vineyards at Wasenweiler

After discussing in our group yesterday, we want to do something new and show you the gastronomy in the beautiful neighbourhood of Freiburg. Lets explore the Kaiserstuhl region with its wonderful wines and restaurants. First we´ll introduce you to one of the best recommended restaurants in Wasenweiler near Ihringen, the most sunny place of Germany. Fantastic local kitchen and of course now its the time to try Asparagus in the local way. Its grown just there and you can try it with special pancakes or potatoes. Accompanied by Sauce Hollandaise. Eat it vegetarian, or add different hams, Schnitzel, Steak or Fish. You will have a wonderful and typical experience. You´ld rather have something else ?? No problem the menue offers a big variety of "Badische Küche". If the weather is nice, we´ll be seated in the beautiful courtyard. Otherwise inside.
Access is very easy with S-Bahn from Freiburg take S1 to Breisach and stop in Wasenweiler. Then walk 1,2 km straight towards the center of the village. Very easy. Of course you can also come by bike or car. We are willing to organize groups, if you ask for. Just call or write.
