Easy Walk Around the Elbsee - Düsseldorf

Dear Explore the City Members,

Our event is another walk - this time around the Elbsee on the edge of Düsseldorf. Cheryl has kindly offered to join us and lead the way and show us a part of Düsseldorf that she is very familiar with.

We will meet at the "Wanderparkplatz Menzelsee" parking lot and then start the walk. The walk is "easy" and flat all the way. We will make a circuit around the lake and return to our starting point. The length of the walk is approximately 7 km which should take us around 2 hours. After the walk, Cheryl will show us the yacht club which offers coffee, tea and cold drinks (for a very reasonable price).

As an after walk treat, the Vabali Spa is nearby and is a good way to recover after the walk. This is not part of the event and if you are interested, then you will need to book this yourselves.

The public transport options are limited but there is a bus stop near the meeting point (approximately 17 min walk). This bus stop is accessible with S-Bahn, U-Bahn or Tram and buses 03, Protected content 785. Please check the public transport app for your appropriate transport connections.

Also the weather forecast is for 18 degrees so it will be warm, sunny weather with some clouds. Nevertheless, please check the weather before the event and dress appropriately ... consider a rain coat, umbrella and protection against the sun.
