Far too often, things are thrown away far too quickly.
Whether the toaster breaks down, the radio is making a noise, the vacuum cleaner stops working, or the floor lamp stays dark – often only a small thing needs to be fixed.
Every third Saturday of the month from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Ehrenfeld Repair Café opens in the small hall of the community center.
In Repair Cafés, volunteer repairers help visitors
repair their broken household appliances.
In this way, the lifespan of everyday objects is extended in a friendly atmosphere, waste is avoided, and everyone learns something new.
