In Dubai, there are some places where we can feel like Japan.
I'd love to introduce you one of the most popular and tasty dishes
"Teｍpura" and '' Sukiyaki''
Tempura is deep fried vegetables and seafood
■History of Tempura
The Deep fried was introduced in the Protected content by Portuguese missionaries. The original dish meant for Lent, the name tempura comes from the Latin ad tempora cuaresme, which means ‘in the time of Lent’. Tempura was introduced through the commercial port city of Nagasaki. At the time, Japan was closed off from the rest of the world. Its only contact was through Portuguese, Dutch and Chinese traders and missionaries.
Sukiyaki is a Japanese hot pot with thinly sliced beef and vegetables cooked in soy sauce, sugar, and mirin in a shallow cast iron pot.
■History of Sukiyaki
In the Protected content , western foreigners introduced new cooking style
as well as cows, milk, and eggs. Yokohama opened the first Sukiyaki restaurant in Protected content
Today, sukiyaki is considered a meal for special occasions, so
EId holiday is the great timing.
I'm looking forward to seeing Japanese cuisine lovers 😊
