Sailing Lessons - Beginners & Advanced
Sailing Lessons with all you need to know to get afloat under supervision. This includes how to sail in all directions, wind knowledge, maneuvers ( including an awareness of launching and recovering), and perfect adjustment of Sails and Knots.
This event is open to all groups:
- Level 1 (Beginner)
Set up Sailboat, True Wind vs Apparent Wind, Tack, When Turbulent Flow Happens, Sail Trimmer, the Best angle to the wind, and basic knots.
- Level 2 (intermediate - for those who have already done Level 1 or already have some knowledge)
Luffing and Back Winding, Man overboard, Heaven-To, Standard Jybe, Slam Jybe, lifts, and Knocks, Keeping the Telltales Flying Steady, Steering the boat with the sails held constant, Holding a constant heading but adjusting the sails.
- Level 3 (advanced - for those who already sail solo or have already done Level 2)
Preparative to Storm, mooring buoys maneuvers, reefing sails, docking maneuvers, and advanced knots.
********Please note that the Sailing fees have to be paid in advance the organizer will send you a payment note when you register***********
