For Sama made history when it was nominated in four categories in the BAFTA awards, making it the most nominated documentary ever. It was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature at the 92nd Academy Awards. (Summary courtesy: Wikipedia).
The move has a 99 % on Rotten Tomatoes, 8,5 /10 IMDb and 89 % on Metacritic.
It's a tribute to the power of survival, motherhood and love in the time of war. Sometimes, we need reminding of how fortunate we are!
The movie will be shown in original Arabic with German subtitles. I'll try and reserve some tickets via phone but best to meet 30 minutes earlier to buy our tickets.
