The pianist and composer Marialy Pacheco was born and trained in Cuba, but Germany has long been the starting point for her worldwide activities. Her specialty lies at the intersection of jazz and Cuban music, though she also masters classical concerts with ease.
In Protected content , she became the first woman to win the Parmigiani Jazz Solo Piano Competition at the Montreux Jazz Festival. She regularly performs and records with renowned artists such as Hamilton de Holanda, Omar Sosa, Joo Kraus, Avishai Cohen, and Nils Wülker. Alongside Roberto Fonseca, Omar Sosa, and Gonzalo Rubalcaba, she is the only woman among the outstanding Cuban pianists of our time. Discover the full range of her artistry!
