The band from Leipzig is known for melancholic, introspective songs, gentle synth pads, warm Wurlitzer patterns, and dreamy saxophone and clarinet lines. Their atmospheric sound radiates calm and the lightness of the moment.
Originally founded by singer and guitarist Max Grüner as a solo project, he found—in his search for sonic expansion—an almost twin-like bond with Laurenz Welten (saxophone, clarinet), Valentin Mühlberger (Wurlitzer, synth), Arne Imig (bass), and Raphael Schuster (drums)—a nearly twin-like bond that gave the band its name and is clearly felt on stage.
The still relatively young act, which has since garnered significant attention in the German indie scene, has already produced two albums—»Hands/Trees« Protected content “Visions” Protected content , completed several Germany-wide tours, played at various festivals, and was nominated for the German Prize for Pop Culture in Protected content its music video for “Puppeteer.”
