Ödül & Funk Alaturka is a vibrant fusion project where the spirit of Turkish Anatolian music meets the groove of funk, soul, jazz, pop, disco and rock. Blending traditional instruments such as qanun and darbuka with contemporary rhythms, the band transforms familiar Turkish melodies and international hits into energetic, playful and highly danceable performances. Led by Ödül’s distinctive, powerful vocals and charismatic stage presence, Funk Alaturka creates a unique East-meets-West sound that is as much a live show as it is a musical experience… 💜

A personal note 😊
Normally, by the time this concert starts, I would probably already be in my second or third dream 😴. But I think I can manage to stay awake once a year for a good concert!

And if we somehow survive until the end, we could even continue to the Fischmarkt for breakfast afterwards. 😄 I've never done that either, so that would be another first for me! (but not 100% promise:)
