Vernissage - Group Exhibition Art History
Art History brings together fifteen contemporary artists around a shared challenge: to reinterpret a masterpiece from art history and transform it into an original new work. From tribute to reinterpretation, each artist draws inspiration from an iconic artwork while extending their own artistic practice. Far from mere quotation or reproduction, the exhibition reveals how the masterpieces of the past continue to inspire, challenge, and shape contemporary creation. Through the unique perspectives of YZ, Levalet, Pantonio, Tamara Alves, Alfred Cheng, Ardif, and many others, Art History creates a dialogue between past and present, inviting visitors to discover the invisible connections that unite historical masterpieces…
