ESCHER Between Art & Science
One of the most fascinating and recognizable artists of the twentieth century.
90 works by the artist including engravings, watercolours, woodcuts and lithographs.
The exhibition also delves into the close relationship that the artist had with Islamic art and how the use of symmetries, modular repetition and the abstract vision of space offered Escher a very important starting point for overcoming the naturalistic representation of reality.
There will also be a series of immersive multimedia installations.
