Guided walk in the Bavarian quarter of Berlin in GERMAN
Now that some restrictions have been lifted, we can’t wait to invite you to an AMAZING guided walk in the beautiful Bavarian quarter of Schöneberg (between Viktoria-Luise-Platz and Schöneberg Rathaus), almost every house of which has an interesting story to tell.
Our guide Dr. Julia Wischke will walk us through the charming streets of this quarter and will share with us lots of stories about this quarter that was once home to many famous artists and intellectuals, i.e. Albert Einstein, Erich Fromm, Hans Fallada, and etc.
I did this walk and totally loved it. Julia’s walks are unlike any other guided walks I’ve ever been to: they are never a mere listing of dry historical facts, but rather a very gentle and respectful depiction of the history through the life of people.
A few words about Julia: Julia has got a PhD in philosophy, she is insanely knowledgeable and fun! Please feel free to check out her blog and Instagram to get the fleur of her walks Protected content and Protected content (both are in Russian, but pictures say more than a thousand words, don't they?)
Please note that this walk will be in German.
The walk will be 2 hours long, after that we can go for a drink somewhere close to Rathaus (drinks not included in the ticket price)
The walk costs 20€. We’d need to make advance payment for this walk. When you sign up for this event, you'll get bank details from me.
