Art Business Networking

What happens when creativity meets connection? Art Business Networking is an open, relaxed conversation about the relationships, encounters and unexpected opportunities that can shape an artistic career or creative business. Networking is often presented as something formal, strategic or even transactional—but in the arts, it can be something much more human: discovering people, exchanging ideas, finding common ground, opening doors and sometimes simply having the right conversation at the right moment.

During this one-hour online event, we’ll first explore Art Business Networking as a broader concept—what it really means, why it matters, and how artists and creative professionals can approach it without losing their authenticity. Then I’ll bring in some examples from my own experiences and observations: situations where connections created opportunities, where unexpected encounters led somewhere interesting, and also where networking simply taught me something. Most importantly, this won’t be a one-way lecture. Bring your experiences, questions, stories and points of view. Let’s look at networking not just as a business skill, but as an art of connecting—and see what can happen when creative people start connecting more intentionally.
