BGA: Medium Game in Virtual Bazaar - "Bombay"
This time we'll play Bombay, continuing our line of games linked with bazaars and trading - Almadi, Grand Bazaar, Jaipur and Century: Spice Road.
In the game, we're using elephants for silk trade between different cities. The city of Mumbai changed its name 15 years before this game came out, and it's not on the silk road. However, both silk and elephants are very popular in India.
In each round, a player has 3 action points, which can be split between moving, buying and selling. Some moves or purchases cost 2 action points, otherwise everything costs 1 action point. Purchases and sales are also paid or rewarded with rupees and tokens that provide bonuses. To win, you need to have the most rupees at the end of the game.
Alex Clapper will again join us as co-host and provide the right atmosphere in his Virtual Bazaar :-)
