Honest Hearts Vs Emotional Players

Some people enter connections with honesty.
Some people enter connections with dishonesty.

Some seek trust, care, and real connection. Others may seek attention, control, benefits, validation, or emotional advantage.

In this open Saturday evening dialogue, we will explore both sides through ideas from books on influence, attachment, emotional intelligence, fear, and boundaries.

We will discuss how people may create trust quickly, mirror what others want to hear or feel, and use charm, mystery, hot-and-cold behaviour, affection, intimacy, vulnerability, or personal hardship stories to gain influence, attention, or benefits.

We will also explore why sincere people may ignore red flags: loneliness, chemistry, emotional attachment, hope, fear of losing a rare connection, or the desire to believe someone is better than their actions.

Event Format:
The first hour will be an open dialogue based on the topic.
The second hour will be open breakout rooms for socializing and casual conversations.

The discussion will remain general, respectful, and focused on human behaviour, emotional patterns, trust, boundaries, and self-awareness.
