The Perspective Marvels of the Jesuit Rome (In English)
This time we will amaze you with special effects!
In fact, we will visit some places belonging to the Jesuit order, which host works that are fantastic examples of perspective virtuosity, such as:
- the corridor of the Jesuit “Casa Professa”, characterized by false architectures and “anamorphic” paintings (they can only be seen from a certain viewpoint);
- The false dome of St. Ignatius of Loyola (it looks like a dome, but it's a painting!)
- In addition we will see the so-called "baroque machine", an example of technology of the Protected content that was a great surprise for the people of that period .
