Day Trip to Mönchengladbach With Space Movies Exhibition

Let's welcome spring with a day trip to Mönchengladbach!
The city offers a variety of things to do. There are nice, cosy cafés, plenty of shopping options and a diverse cultural scene.

On this trip, we will visit the "Stars of the Galaxy" exhibition. If you like Star Wars, lightsabers, and action figures of your favourite characters, such as Yoda, Darth Vader, and C-3PO, then this trip is for you!

We are a bit flexible, so we can choose to have some drinks and snacks before going to the exhibition or we can find a cosy place to eat and drink in the city afterwards. You can also do some shopping afterwards if you like.

We'll meet at around 13:30 in front of the bookstore "Press & Books" inside the train station. From there, we will walk to the city and the exhibition — everything is within walking distance.

The entrance fee is €18 and can be purchased on site or online in advance.

I'll take the RB27 train to Mönchengladbach, departing from Cologne Deutz at 12:19 and from Cologne Central Station at 12:25, arriving in Mönchengladbach at 13:19. There is also a train on the RE8 line from Cologne to Mönchengladbach.

If you are coming by car, there are several car parks near the station, such as Parkplatz Bismarckplatz, B+B Garage and Deutsche Bank Garage.
