Medieval Art Museum in Cologne's City Center
Hi everyone,
Fall is approaching, and it’s slowly time to shift our activities back indoors a bit.
If you’re interested in art, the Middle Ages, or just museums in general, feel free to come to the Schnütgen Museum at Neumarkt in Cologne this Sunday.
This museum is beautifully situated in a church and can be accessed through the entrance of the Rautenstrauch-Joest Museum.
In addition to the permanent exhibition, which features artifacts primarily from the 11th to 15th centuries in the Rhineland, there’s currently a special exhibition titled “Light in Dark Times” showcasing stained glass from Ukraine. This is currently the only exhibition featuring Ukrainian glass art outside of Ukraine.
After visiting the museum, we’re welcome to stroll through downtown for a bit and find a café or restaurant.
Admission costs 6 euros; we’ll meet Protected content .
Have a great time, and see you soon in Cologne!
