Celebrate World Organ Donation Day
Donating an organ can be one of the noblest ways to give a new lease of life to someone. World Organ Donation Day is observed on 13 August.
This annual global event is a day dedicated to clearing up myths, raising awareness about the life-saving significance of organ donation for patients, and to inspire individuals to consider becoming organ donors.
The focus is on highlighting how life-saving transplants bridge the gap between organ demand and availability.
We will watch a documentary (approx 54 minutes), followed by a discussion session.
