CERN - Science Gateway and Big Bang Café
There was lots of interest in our last CERN activity - so we thought let's do it again!
We meet at 9:45 at the entry to the Science Gateway. Entry to the main exhibitions and science show is free for all and those interested in a tour to see the Synchrocyclotron and ATLAS control room or to participate in a lab workshop can sign up for it on the day of the visit upon arrival. Please note that due to the high number of visitors, there is no guarantee that we will be able to join a tour or lab workshop, but the main exhibitions are also very much worth the visit.
After exploring the exhibitions and other activities, we will all meet at 14:00 at the Big Bang Café for a snack.
We have made a booking for 11 people, so please only sign up if you are sure that you can make it.
