The GRASSI is a museum quarter in the heart of Leipzig, uniting three museums with diverse themes in one location: art, design, world cultures, music, and instruments.
The building complex, constructed in the Art Deco style between Protected content 1929, features inner courtyards and the adjacent park-like Old Johannis Cemetery, creating a unique cultural attraction as well as a place of peace and relaxation on the eastern edge of the city center. The site owes its name to the patron Franz Dominic Grassi.
