On the first Thursday of every month, explore some of Johannesburg's best art galleries until late.
First Thursdays is a monthly cultural experience centred around a walkable programme of art galleries, retail stores, restaurants and bars, taking place in both Cape Town and Johannesburg.
First Thursdays was started by Thursdays Projects in Cape Town in Protected content , expanding to Johannesburg in Protected content . Thursdays Projects coordinates the initiative, promotes each month’s programme, and produces special cultural experiences with aligned partners.
Participating establishments include The Manor, Origin Art, BKhz, Atrium @ Keys Art Mile and the Mix Cocktail Bar.
