Grand Ball under the Stars: Saint-Georges Dragon Carnival
For its 31st edition, the famous Saint-Georges Dragon Carnival returns to the pretty old town district. This year's event will be all about disco, rich in rhinestones and sequins.
The program promises to be full all day long: face painting for young and old, strolling through the Saint-Georges district to the rhythm of two batucadas and the giant dragon, refreshments and snacks on site.
In the evening, it's time for the burning of Monsieur Carnaval in front of Saint-Georges Church, fireworks from the Saint-Georges footbridge, and a grand ball under the stars with free concerts.
I'm curious to experience this popular festival for the first time. Would you like to join me?
I suggest that we start the party at Cavavin, right next to Valensio square, with a glass of good wine.
