A Victorian Terrace Vibes (Lyon Gastronomy Series #1)
Dear all,
We've been talking about exploring Lyon's most renowned restaurants together; so, let's go! We'll discover some of the must-try spots on Lyon's gastronomic scene.
Let’s start with a spot with a lovely terrace in central Lyon : Victoria Hall.
It really stands out for its beautiful setting — a former 19th-century townhouse with a charming tree-lined courtyard. There’s a semi-gastronomic restaurant, a lounge bar, and a great terrace to enjoy it all.
Chef Cédric Garin offers refined French cuisine with seasonal ingredients, served in a calm, elegant atmosphere with attentive service.
We opted for their €47 offer (starter, main course, dessert). Everyone can create their own menu by choosing between three options for each course.
Starters:
Perfect farm egg glazed with soy, chilled beetroot soup, green vegetables and watermelon with raspberry vinaigrette, tangy cream
or
Barbecued asparagus, smoked beef with Madagascar pepper
or
Black tiger prawns, salsa criolla, guacamole
Main Courses:
Fish of the day, spinach greens with Espelette pepper, glazed seasonal vegetables, lemon cream
or
Slow-cooked rolled lamb shoulder, lemon-ginger sauce, roasted zucchini caviar with rosemary
or
Barbecued Aveyron veal loin with pistachio crust, shiitake, spring onion, sesame tuile
Desserts:
Chocolate and hazelnut royal
or
Lemon, pesto, mint, meringue and hazelnut
or
Raspberry cake (Framboisier)
Isn't the offer great? I can't wait to try everything, can you?
