Free Museum Walk in Venice
Museums in Venice are free of charge on Sunday, and perhaps it will be the last Sunday for a while: anyone up for visiting a museum in the morning?
I'm currently undecided between Gallerie dell'Accademia and the Oriental Art Museum.
We visited both of them, Protected content ago, but there would be new works of art for us to admire this time.
For instance, Gallerie dell'Accademia has the Vitruvian Man on display now (i.e. the drawing that depicts Leonardo's representation of the perfect human body... and that recently became controversial for how it got rendered for the Olympic Games), while the Galleria d'Arte Orientale features, besides its extensive collection of art and jewelry from Japan, China and Indonesia, a special exhibit on silkworms and the Silkroad.
What would you like to visit? :)
Meeting point: let's decide by Saturday afternoon what to visit and let's meet at the chosen museum entrance at 10:30am.
