Midsummer Celebration
Celebrate a genuine Swedish Midsummer together with the Friends of Folkdansens Vänner at Fredriksdal museums and gardens. Bring your flower garland, pack your picnic basket and participate in ring dancing, competitive games, singing and take a swing on the dance floor.
The Friends of Folkdansens with national fiddlers are offering the program and they have a long tradition of arranging Midsummer here in Fredriksdal. There will be a historic Midsummer celebration for two days with flowers and games in a rural idyll in the middle of the city.
See fantastic folk dancers in traditional Skåne folk dances, hear skilled fiddlers and watch shows. As the day turns to evening, the greenery and the old buildings create an almost magical atmosphere together with the music and dance.
