Mythical Creature Walk
The "Väsenvandring" (Folklore Walk) highlights Swedish cultural heritage, focusing on Southern Swedish folklore and storytelling. With "farm animals" as the theme at Fredriksdal for Protected content , this year’s walk places special emphasis on mythical beings and creatures that appear in animal form.
Skilled storytellers and eerie mythical beings transport the whole family into a world filled with trolls and ghosts, *bäckahästar* (river horses), and *kyrkogrimar* (churchyard guardians). The walk takes place by the light of lanterns and flares, with atmospheric lighting transforming the Fredriksdal landscape into a storytelling journey for both young and old.
