Moon Festival 中秋节 à la Si Chuan 四川 with special Mooncakes
你好 Ni Hao.
Autumn is slowly approaching and this year the Chinese Moon Festival (Mid Autumn Festival - zhōng qiū jié) is celebrated on 1st October. It is the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar with a full moon at night.
We can celebrate it two days later in a famous Chinese restaurant with Si Chuan Food (四川菜).
The boss offered us to prepare her special mooncakes (one for each person 3.20eur pp) which are filled with a rich pastry of sweet-beans and nuts. The size is a ball approx. 3.5 cm dia. (see pictures).
If you do not want to try the Mooncake, please let me know.
You can order the dishes à la carte whereof the Insider Menue is recommended for typical SiChuan dishes Protected content (some dishes have to be ordered Protected content ahead).
Another new specialty is the dessert with sticky rice.
You can have a look at the other menus of the restaurant: Protected content
Due to the situation with Cov.19 we have limited seats which can't be increased. We plan to have small tables put together with distance in the aerated winter garden. But maybe it at ithe end will be a larger table with enogh space for all.
So, please be sure that you can attend if you register and don't block the seat for someone on the waiting list.
The restaurant can be reached by bus lines 43, 44 and Protected content stations are close to the restaurant).
Enjoy it! 慢慢吃!
