Transit - film & zoom chat
Hi, let's watch the film "Transit" - a German drama film written and directed by Christian Petzold. It is based on Anna Seghers's Protected content , adapted to be set in the present. The film follows a refugee who impersonates a dead writer in an attempt to flee a fascist state. If you prefer you could read the book.
The plan: Everybody individually watches the film and we will have a chat about it afterwards. The film will take 2 hours, thus please start at 19:00 if you like to watch the film on Sunday before the chat. We would have a chat about the film at 21:00 (German winter time, UCT). via zoom. As usual, I will send the zoom link like before to those signed up.
The registration is for the zoom chat. If you are not sure if you can make it to the zoom chat please do not register.
Of course, everybody is free to watch the film whenever they want.
