as every year, this year in the Jewish Film Festival Berlin-Brandenburg will take place again, this year Protected content 2025.

I used my talented skills and checked the whole list of movies they show.

Amidst the bombs and accusations of Nazism from Russia, how are Jewish communities in Ukraine faring today? A look at realities in a country where war defines normality. And antisemitism, according to the protagonists of this documentary from Alex Osmolovsky, is currently at the lowest level anywhere in Europe

Little remains of the affluent Jewish existence in Ukraine after the Shoah, the antisemitic campaigns during the Soviet era, or the wave of emigration in the Protected content . The remaining Jewish communities, diverse as ever, have drawn closer together in the face of Russia's war of aggression, just as Ukrainian society has as a whole. Alex Osmolovsky, himself of Ukrainian descent, returns to Ukraine for Purim and proceeds to film there over the course of two years.
