Exploring Luzern...With Many Lights
Anyone up for visiting Luzern and discovering its festival of lights?
Legend has it that Luzern was founded under the guidance of an angel, who pointed a ray of light over the chosen spot. And so the settlers built a town there. These days, the angels may be elsewhere in the skies, but a light festival is taking place in Luzern.
While waiting to find out what the weather will be like, rough plan is to spend a Saturday afternoon in the picturesque Swiss city and combine a scenic walk across the Bireggwald forest with a stroll across the "Lilu" light festival.
Hike takes around 2 hours and is well described at Protected content
