November Journey to Valais, Ep.7

It's time to get ready for one of our favourite Swiss events: the night of museums in Valais! With free museums, trains, buses, soups and wine awaiting us, can we possibly resist the call of the Swiss canton?

Of course not! The full program is already out, at Protected content as usual, the big challenge will be to pick a handful out of the gazillion events that Valais has kindly arranged for us. Will we stick to the museum of Vatican guards, which features a vast underworld that would be impossible to explore on other days, or will we travel farther than Sion, to visit the boat museum on lake Geneva or the events at S.Maurice castle? A lot will depend on the weather but, for sure, we won't be bored!

Train-wise, we'll likely try to reach Protected content just in time to catch the Caracas carnival.

If you wish to stay overnight, plan for Sunday is to have a hike somewhere near Brig , maybe in Eggerberg (and possibly combine it with Brigerbad thermal baths?)
