Going East.. for Easter: Allgäu

If anyone hasn't made plans for Easter yet, would you like to head east one more time?
The idea is to remain faithful to the "East for Easter" tagline and head to Allgäu: the Bavarian region offers mighty mountains, lush forests and lakes formed by ancient glaciers, along the borders with Austria. There should also be richly decorated fountains in many towns, as it seems a tradition to make fountains colorful for Easter.
Plan is to take Tuesday off and spend 4 days (but if you only have 3 days, that's also ok).
A rough program could be:
Saturday 8th - Visit the town of St Gallen, famous for its rococo abbey / library and the many oriel windows.
Sunday 9th - If the weather is sunny, head to Obertsdorf, a famous winter sport and holiday resort. There's plenty of trails to choose from:
Protected content could be one possibility.
Monday 10th - We could either head to Kempten, the main town in Allgäu, and visit its Baroque Residenz, or we could follow Allgäu's main river Lech and discover the even more famous Landsberg am Lech, where medieval architecture, gothic towers and nature blend together to create one of most picturesque towns along the Romantische Strasse.
Tuesday 11th - Possibly have a walk around Friedrichshafen, along the shore of the Bodensee, before heading back home.
Overnight stay: given that Bahn is selling 29 euro train tickets from Chiasso to Ulm, staying in Ulm might be a convenient option.
