Tennis (Singles or Doubles)
Welcome to the tennis sub-group of the Brussels Sport Group.
The idea is to play regularly, during the week or at the weekend, whether you’re an experienced player or a beginner, in singles or doubles – it doesn’t matter.
Most players are unranked, but are of a decent standard (so they’re not beginners).
Matches take place at various clubs in the eastern part of Brussels:
* either at Terdelt in Schaerbeek, which has 5 outdoor courts and 2 indoor courts; courts cost €18/hour in summer and €20 in winter
* or at KTC in Crainhem, which has 3 outdoor courts in summer and 3 indoor courts in winter; courts cost €19 per hour
* or at Lambermont in Schaerbeek, which has 6 outdoor or indoor courts depending on the season; courts cost €25 per hour
* or at Triton in Evere, which has 3 outdoor or indoor courts depending on the season; courts cost €20 per hour
Members taking part for the first time must pay a fee of €5 before the event. In practice, over 50% of newcomers fail to turn up without giving notice, which causes inconvenience to regular players. This rule applies only to the first time you take part.
