I´d like to offer you an ABSOLUTE HIKING HIGHLIGHT!!!

The weather on Saturday looks great so we keep the date!
On Sunday you can recover at a lake from the tour :-)

The highest mountains have always a special attraction.
So let´s make the highest mountain of Germany the Zugspitze Protected content . Some of you asked me to do this tour in summer again.
If you are attracted by this challenge read further.

Due to the high number of attendees and interessted hikers I will make the tour twice.
which is technically easy but long 14km

We go early in the morning by car. We start 6:00 in Munich. Be in time!
Meeting point is in Munich or directly at Ehrwald. Latest arrival at Ehrwald parking 7:30!!!!

We hike up to the summit and go down by cable car or by feet to if you want a challenge.

Hochfelder Alm and Knorrhütte are on the way to buy food and drinks if necessary.

If you want you can take the Gletscherbahn at the end to save 400m to the summit.

Anyway this is a really advanced and demanding tour.

- adequate physical fitness for the tour
- propper equipment for hike
- food and drinks according your personal needs
- open mind, good mood and charming smile :-)

You might have to started training in spring if you want to stand this challenge. The Geographer Hikes which I posted can be a good training for you or you can evaluate your hiking level.

If you want to attend you need best fitness!

I don´t describe required equipment. Because when you don´t know how to make such tours and aren´t aware about hiking in alpine regions...make the next easier tour with us. This one it is not for beginners!!!

You attend on your own risk. This is not a guided tour with commercial purpose. If you attend make sure that you fit to all requirements.
In case of bad weather the acitivty might be canceld.
