A Friday Night Voyage Into the World of the Odyssey

We are delighted to invite you to the sixth event of a wonderful project, Odissea di città, uomini e menti — a series curated by Catalyst, unfolding across seven stages in seven different locations throughout Florence.
CALYPSO | The Eternity of a Kiss explores the temptation to stop time. The Legend of Kalypso and Ulysses
The island of Ogygia becomes the setting for an eternal love that offers no way back: a sweet captivity in which perfection coincides with stillness, and where eternity ultimately reveals a profound longing for the world.
Written by Riccardo Rombi, the performance blends theatre with a chorus and ancient Greek musical instruments, creating an evocative journey between myth, music and the timeless human desire to hold on to a perfect moment.

From Santa Maria Novella train station, take the T2 tram towards Peretola Airport. Get off at Novoli – Torre degli Agli (approximately 15 minutes, 8 stops), then walk for about 10 minutes to the library
