InterNations — A Community for American Expats in Beijing

Hello to all Americans in Beijing! Are you interested in getting to know fellow expats in Beijing? Looking for advice from other Americans, e.g. wondering if there are any bars in Beijing which will be showing your favorite baseball or American football team’s upcoming match or where to go in town for st■ turkey?

There’s no doubt about it: life in the megacity Beijing is an experience you won’t forget. The Chinese capital is a sprawling city known for its sheer size and long history, the mix of the modern with the traditional that is not only visible in the local architecture, and much more! With the public transportation network consisting of hundreds of bus lines and a fast and reliable subway system, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in one of the outer districts such as Shunyi, which are about an hour away from Beijing’s center.

Although Beijing has lots to offer, you might be wondering where and how you can meet other Americans in the city. Luckily, InterNations is here to make this easier for you! You’re warmly invited to join the InterNations community.
