Climate Change Internship (Beijing)

Are you passionate about climate change? Do you lead a low carbon life or want
to learn how? Are you in awe of China's economic development yet frightened by
her increased consumption? Is "Be the change you want to see in the world" your
personal mantra?

If you've answered "yes" to one of these questions and are interested in working
at the intersection of social media and climate change during your time in
Beijing then we want to speak to you!

Climate Action helps to fund clean energy projects around the world through the
sale of carbon credits to companies and to individuals. We spend a lot of time
thinking about how to make today's world a better place using clean and green
technology and have our eye on new technologies that will have game-changing
impacts on tomorrow's world. We are building and growing a community of low
carbon, like-minded individuals using social media.

The company is led by successful entrepreneurs in the clean tech and internet
spaces in China. You can learn more about Climate Action by connecting with us on Facebook ( Protected content ) and Twitter ( Protected content ).

We are looking for people who may have one or a combination of the following traits:
* passionate about climate change and wants to do something to make an impact
* background in environmental studies
* proven experience in social media marketing
* background in journalism and/or writing/editing experience

He or she would have to convince a climate change skeptic that investments in clean technology are making a difference. It would be helpful if the candidate has native level written English skills which will be used to make intelligent contributions to other online discussions in the green space.

If you think you can make a significant contribution to our organization and
that you would benefit from working with our entrepreneurially-minded team, or
