Call for Hosting the 2nd. International Exhibit of "Boardercrossing"
Who we are:
ArtistsBeCollective is a non-for-profit organisation created by a multi- disciplinary group of professional and internationally confirmed artists and is based in Brussels, Belgium.
Our aim is to be a point of reference for international artistic cooperation and exhibit quality contemporary artwork in public and private spaces. ArtistsBeCollective encourages interaction among a diverse international community of painters, photographers, sculpturers, multimedia-artists, performing artists and writers and of course its public. Our projects are bordercrossing and recent achievements include “Giants” from November Protected content TOUR & Taxis Brussels, the selection for the AiO Philadelphia, and participations in ArtBrussels, AAF and ArtBerlin.
Amongst our activities, we organize yearly an exceptional artistic event to exhibit selected pieces to the public in an unusual space combined with an artistic performance with the aim to dynamify the dialog between artist and public and to make art accessible not only literally but also globally .

This year's event entitled "Bordercrossing" will be a "3 week exibition, combined with a high quality performance - for the month of January/February Protected content .
Host applications are open till 20th of October.
Deadline to submit a Notice of Intent: 20th of October. The notice by e mail should be addressed to the ABC Organizing Committee : Protected content and explain motivation and reasons for applying, and contain a description of the space proposed (dimensions and qualities).
Evaluation and pre-qualification of submitted proposals by the ABC board
members. The ABC will use a scoring system to rank pre-qualified proposals.
Acceptance notification of the 2 shortlisted proposals: 22th of October. The ABC may ask candidates to submit additional information and/or documentation to further
support their proposal.
Final selection of the bid to host 30th of October
The Board Members will vote on the proposals and announce the official results.
Please note that the ABC may, at its discretion, modify the above schedule and notify all parties concerned of these schedule changes.

To facilitate long-term planning, we also encourage submission of Notices of Intent to for hosting ArtistsBeCollective in October Protected content .
Please note that proposals from prospective hosts in Northern Europe and Asia are also especially welcome.
The notice should include a cover letter of the proposed host addressed to the ArtistsBeCollective Organizing Committee and a motivation letter with the proposed country and city.
The detailed schedule for the bidding and selection procedure will be available at a later stage.
