You will join an ambitious team of dedicated people with diverse backgrounds. Joining the Advanced Professional Leaders Program at Cargill means you will have a real job from the start, with clear deliverables and responsibilities. Based on the nature of the Business Unit and role you are placed in during a Protected content trainee program, you will get to learn and know Cargill and the Food Ingredients and Systems Business Units in the EMEA region. The roles you may be placed in vary from Sales, Commodity Trading, Marketing and Supply Chain & Logistics. On a daily basis you may be talking directly to a variety of our key stakeholders at Cargill. These range from suppliers, customers, transportation teams and traders in the international market. The Advanced Professional Leaders Program requires the ability to travel up to 50% based on business needs.
Advanced Professional Leaders Program Positions:
In Sales you provide added value and solutions for our clients. For example you sell flour to animal feed mixers or sunflower oil to fast moving consumer goods producers.
In Commodity Trading you buy and sell raw food-materials worldwide. You make a daily analysis of the various market and price developments, you assess the risk elements and you take action accordingly.
In Marketing you will help customers succeed through collaboration and innovation. You will be responsible for marketing food ingredients and solutions to our customers and consumers with an innovative and engaging approach to business.
In Supply Chain you will become a professional in the logistical part of a production site. You begin as an assistant planner and will be in direct contact with clients, suppliers and employees from production and management. You will be responsible for achieving an optimal relationship between production, loading activities and distribution of orders.
The principal accountability of this role is to learn Cargill Business Units within the Food Ingredients and Systems Platform through an extensive Protected content on the job training. The Advanced Professional Leaders Program will include at least Protected content with clear deliverables that allow candidates to learn how Cargill Business Units in the Food Ingredients and System Platform serves our customers, employees and the community.
Learning our business includes the key accountabilities listed below:.
Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships with customers, traders, suppliers, transportation and functional teams.
Timely and effective communication and interaction with other Cargill teams such as Sales, Transportation & Logistics, Quality Assurance, Human Resources, Finance and Plant Operations
Ensure thorough and accurate follow up and execution on all commitments, contracts and communication
Participate in mentor relationship, leadership development courses, skill building trainings and Advanced Professional Leaders Program activities
Ability to relocate for development experiences and ability to travel up to 50% based on business needs
Minimum Bachelor and preferably Master’s degree with Protected content of relevant work experience
High learning agility and healthy curiosity of how we can improve and innovate
Demonstrated natural leadership ability while exhibiting high integrity and ethical standards
Ability to establish and commit to a vision and strategy, while clearly communicating the future state
