FC Irlande Football Club and Belgium GAA Gaelic Sports Club invite you to come and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with us on Sunday March 11th, from 12.30 pm.
St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated by Irish people all over the world, be they natives, expatriates or descendants of the numerous emigrants, and today it’s so popular that many non-Irish also take part, becoming « Irish for a day »
During the day you can watch some live demonstrations of Gaelic sports. Discover Gaelic Football and Hurling / Camogie, played by Irish and non-Irish, men and women. There will also be many children’s activities, including sports coaching, a bouncy castle, face-painting and fun races for all ages.
And after all that effort, you’ll be relieved to know that we’ll also have a wide range of food and drink stands, including a Jack O’Shea’s Barbecue and Guinness on tap !
The sports festival take place in Parc Cinquantenaire on the Sports field – the nearest entrance is on Avenue de la Renaissance.
From 16.00 the party moves indoors to the Brasserie Protected content 4 Avenue d’Auderghem just beside Schuman Roundabout.
From 16.00 to 18.00 we’ll have children’s activities – storytelling, colouring, puzzles and even Irish traditional music played by children.
And for the adults, we’ll have great live music and even Irish dancing demonstrations until midnight. Food and drink will also be available all night in the Protected content .
