Living in Cleveland

Cleveland is known as the forest city, because it was originally a sophisticated society amongst a heavily forested area. The most populated county in the state of Ohio, it was first founded in 1796. Due to its proximity to the Cuyahoga River, it quickly became an important goods manufacturing center, using the river to deliver the products made in the factories. However, expatriates living in Cleveland will not only find the city’s history interesting to discover. The internationally famous Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame is based in Cleveland, and is something to see, even if you're not necessarily a fan of rock music. Failing that, a trip to the old arcade should satisfy your architectural cravings. If you're considering life in Cleveland, whether it's for work or pleasure, it's worth looking into what InterNations can do to make your expat life in Cleveland even nicer.
