Weekend get-away, Yuletide hygge + Forest Tower (Copenhagen)
Fancy an overnight stay in a beautiful old manor house, full of hygge and x-mas cheer? You deserve it!
We're offering cosy little Yuletide stay at Hesede Hovedgård - just an hour's drive South of Copenhagen, very close to the new Forest Tower (on TIME's list of things to see in Protected content well as the very old Gisselfeld Castle (where Hans Christian Andersen supposedly wrote The Ugly Duckling).
On the weekends of Protected content Protected content , the traditional Christmas market is on at Gisselfeld and that is of course when we offer these little stays.
This year, there will also be x-mas hygge at right outside our front door, as we have 3 new specialty shops as our next-door neighbours: A coffee roastery, outdoor clothes and a beautiful shop stuffed with designer goodies from around the world - all sprinkled with gløgg and good old hygge!
Our Yuletide stay includes: One night in a double room + Yuletide coffee and a little something sweet upon arrival (from 15:00 on Friday or Saturday) + Tasty tapas and wine tasting in the evening - where you'll sit a one big old long table and get to talk to other lovely guests + Our home-made breakfast in the morning.
All for DKK 1,500 for two people (almost too cheap, isn't it? Well, it's Christmas!). [please note that 4 rooms share a bathroom]
To make your reservation, email Protected content or call Protected content .
We have quite a few international guests and would love to have more :-)
PS. I've been a member of InterNations for quiet a while, but haven't been active as I've been busy setting up this new place in the countryside :-)
