Living in Coral Springs

Coral Springs, the “City in the Country”, is a planned community in Broward County, Florida. Situated to the east of the Florida Everglades, the city is true to its nickname, having been developed on reclaimed marshland from 1963 onwards. It is a sprawling city with over fifty municipal parks and a diverse population, attracting national and multinational corporations to its recently redeveloped downtown area. Expats living in Coral Springs will enjoy the beautifully laid out city with its open plan real estate. Meeting expats in Coral Springs should not be too much of a problem, but the InterNations website, designed specifically for expatriates who wish to network with fellow expats, may open up new global contacts and the opportunity to meet expatriates living in the Coral Springs area. The InterNations online community consists of professional individuals and their families who share a common bond, that of living and working in a foreign country. Expats in Coral Springs may register as members and utilize the online forums and discussion boards to network and form friendships with expats living in the area to arrange meetings and social activities for mutual benefit.

Moving to Coral Springs

Relocating to a new country as an expatriate is a daunting prospect; no matter how many times you may have already done this. Adjusting to local customs and practices, absorbing new information and locating even the most basic of essentials can quickly become overwhelming. However, the InterNations online community exists to make your move and life abroad easier. Other members may have first-hand knowledge regarding moving to Florida and even Coral Springs, with advice and tips freely given to help you settle in during the first few weeks of living in Coral Springs. Often, more general queries regarding relocation can be resolved by reading the online Expat Magazine, which contains a wealth of information on many topics of relevance not only to expatriates moving to Coral Springs. Reading through the Expat Magazine before, during and after your planned relocation should resolve the most common problems you may encounter, from culture shock to expat finance.
