The Role
Owing to continued success, business growth and expansion into new areas of expertise we need to add experienced Cloud Computing Sales Specialist professionals to our successful European sales teams in Dublin.
As an IBM Digital Sales Cloud Computing Sales Specialist you will work with clients across Germany, Austria and Switzerland to help them find solutions to their IT, business and Cloud Computing needs.
You will identify and close Cloud Computing Sales opportunities, develop new business and influence the IBM Cloud Computing go to market strategy.
You will specialise and have expertise in the Cloud Computing solution areas and will benefit from extensive education and training to develop your capabilities with one of the world’s largest IT companies and most recognised brands.

Principal Responsibilities:
Engage with IBM customers on the Cloud Computing phenomenon, its potential implications & benefits for the customer and IBM’s Cloud Computing strategy & portfolio
Develop & implement innovative sales strategies and influence Cloud Computing Product Development, Marketing & Web strategy
Develop a business plan that will drive Cloud Computing business in your assigned territory
Harness IBM Sales, Brand & Marketing teams, in addition to Web tools & techniques to build Cloud Computing pipeline
Develop a strong relationship with your customers, ensuring key decision-makers are engaged. Plan and conduct negotiations with customers to win business, drive ongoing engagement and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained
Achieve revenue targets, by managing opportunity pipeline utilising IBM CRM systems, accurately forecasting revenue & driving sales action to close gaps.

Qualification and Experience
You will have Protected content solution sales experience, and preferably within a technology environment
You need strong business acumen and excellent communications skills.
You will need to be a creative and self-motivated team player, capable of interfacing effectively across the IBM sales & marketing teams.
You must have native or near native level of Germany as well as an extensive cultural awareness Germany/Austria/Switzerland.
You also must have a good level of spoken and written English.
Preferably you will have a University degree, ideally but not exclusively in a business or IT related discipline
