BPP wants to reposition itself as a leading global player and leverage its current success in over 50 countries delivering high quality innovative education either in country (face to face or online), student recruitment to the UK or through delivering content (via books).
Working as an integral part of the International Team, the In-Country Commercial Manager will be responsible for agreeing, setting up, achieving and exceeding sales targets for the specific country for all product lines (inbound student recruitment, online classroom, learning materials). They will manage, monitor and support agents, distributors and feeder Schools/Colleges/Universities performance via a range of methods including but not limited to: visits to sales channels; product training; HTS compliance training; and attendance at exhibitions and events. Working to maintain and grow existing business, the In-Country Commercial Manager will develop new business opportunities in-country for UK colleagues to complete the contract sales. They will also contribute to product development through market feedback reports, and will share market information with key internal stakeholders, and work alongside the International Manager and Managing Director to develop BPP’s brand in-country. Finally, the In-Country Commercial Manager will ensure BPP’s retention of HTS with the UK Border Agency.
What we’re looking for
With a degree or equivalent level qualification/experience, you will possess strong marketing skills and have significant experience in a sales and marketing role. You will be highly organised, focused and results-driven, with a proven ability to work under pressure and make decisions in a changing environment. With excellent communication skills, you will be adept at building and maintaining strong working relationships and fostering a high level of entrepreneurial spirit. Your ability to work across cultures and different cultural environments will enable you to hit the ground running. Experience in Higher Education or professional training would be advantageous.
This role will require the successful candidate to travel within the country of operation and internationally as appropriate.
