A successful company in Malta is seeking to recruit a Paraplanner
Our client is a long-established and successful international financial advisory group. The company consists of a solid network of experienced professionals, which are the backbone of this company, allowing them to provide nothing short of the high-quality, and trustworthy financial advice.
The Paraplanner will be reporting to the Head of Finance and will be working hand in hand with the Administration team providing the appropriate support required in order to facilitate the processing of new and existing business. Duties will include but are not limited to: building a working knowledge of the business support function; maintaining back office systems and client files; ensuring the company is complying with the regulatory regime whilst demonstrating an understanding of ones responsibility within the regulatory framework; creating and maintaining working relationships with IFA’s and colleagues; preparing business generating documentation and reports; performing all the necessary actions required in order to comply with all FCA rules and regulations applicable to the role while adhering to TCF procedures at all times; following the company principles and working ethos and acting with integrity and honesty at all times whilst also taking responsibility for one’s own development with regard to industry changes, legislation and regulation.
This position calls for a self-motivated, ambitious, decisive, focused individual who is career oriented and able to work under pressure. The right candidate must have good telephone manners and the ability to adhere to deadlines and prioritise workload. Applicants must be punctual, presentable and professional whilst possessing excellent numeracy abilities and the ability and flexibility to deal with any business strategy changes that may occur. Candidates must be computer literate with a good working knowledge of all Microsoft office applications. Applicants must possess an A level standard in Maths and English whilst a diploma in Financial Planning or an equivalent degree is required. Fluency in the English language, both written and verbal is a must for this role.
