Switching Jobs With a Work Permit (Munich)

Hi all,

I recently moved to Germany and after job hunting, I've been offered a great position, but the job doesn't start until 01 April Protected content . My issue is, I'm on a tourist visa that runs out in February. Could I find a temp, or even part-time job (and sponsorship) at a bar or restaurant, then switch over to the other job in April? And assuming I do get sponsorship and a work permit from a temp job, would my future company be required to do any extra work, or can I just transfer the permit?
