Living in Springfield, Missouri

Located in the US state of Missouri, Springfield is the state’s third largest city, and is known as ‘The Queen of the Ozarks’ because of its location as one of the main cities in the Ozarks Mountains. The city is home to many beautiful parks as well as outdoor spaces, enabling expats living in Springfield to take in the many parts of the Ozarks which are accessible in the area. Some of Springfield’s most popular sights and attractions include the Nature Center, which is located on the shore of Lake Springfield, the Fantastic Caverns, which allow visitors to explore nearby caves via jeep-drawn trams, as well as others such as the Botanical Center and Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield. Expats living in Springfield will also be able to enjoy entertainment and leisure in the city’s many restaurants and bars, whilst baseball, soccer and basketball are some of Springfield’s most popular sports.
