InterNations — A Community for American Expats in Aarhus

Hello to all Americans in Aarhus! Are you interested in getting to know fellow expats in Aarhus? Looking for advice from other Americans, e.g. wondering if there are any bars in Aarhus which will be showing your favorite baseball or American football team’s upcoming match or where to go in town for st■ turkey?

There’s no doubt about it: Aarhus is a not only a great destination for international students. The second-largest city in Denmark is a demographically young city known for its long and interesting history that began with the Vikings in the eighth century, but also for its status as a regional economic and cultural center, its industrial port, musical history, large university, and much more! With the transportation system consisting of buses, a light-rail tram, as well as a free bike-sharing system and a generally very bike-friendly road network, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in the suburbs, which are an easy commute away from Aarhus’s center.

Although Aarhus has lots to offer, you might be wondering where and how you can meet other Americans in the city. Luckily, InterNations is here to make this easier for you! You’re warmly invited to join the InterNations community. Within our international network in Aarhus, there’s a vibrant circle of American expats from all regions of USA, including New York City, Los Angeles, and beyond.
